2214 Hunts (Scavenger That Is) & Crafts

This past week was filled with fun for our Daisy troop! We finally had the chance on this beautiful November day to complete our nature scavenger hunt. The girls create nature bracelets. We used tape and then they found LOTS of stuff to complete their cuffs.

We had such a beautiful day and space to find leaves, rocks, grass, and even a feather!

Look at those beautiful bracelets! πŸƒπŸ‚πŸƒ

Next we completed an ornament for our Girl Scout tree that will be presented st the mall this holiday season. Below our leaders show and help the girls create their beautiful ribbon trees. πŸŒ²πŸŽ„ β„οΈπŸŒ²πŸŽ„

We even got to share some treats with our friends who earned thei snack badge this week! Congrats and THANK YOU! 😍

Daisies In Their Garden

As we work through our garden we were excited to get into the dirt this week!! We decorated rocks by painting lady bugs and bees, plated our garden and also created invitations to our garden party for all our family. We can’t wait to celebrate our patch accomplishment!

Painting rocks for the garden

Placing our rocks and plants was awesome!

Look at us busy creating our garden party invitations 🌸🌺🐝🐞🌸🌺

We love Girl Scouts!

Celebrating Our Founder

The Founder of Girl Scouts, Juliette Gordon Low, is honored each year on her birthday – – Halloween! Since we didn’t meet on Halloween, we celebrated at our meeting as a troop!

The celebration included decorating cupcakes together.

The best part was helping each other…and, of course, eating them!!

After cupcakes, we sang Girl Scout songs and heard about all the leader’s experiences.

We also wrote letters to our “future selves”

How fun will it be to see our letters when we are 8th graders?
