2214 Daisies see the Daisies πŸŒΊπŸŒ·πŸŒΊ

This week our beautiful little Daisy troop headed to a local nursery to learn about how flowers grow. What a fun trip on a beautiful (soon to be) fall day!

We started our tour by seeing how plant seeds are sorted and put into planters.

Once the seeds are sorted they need soil. What a cool process to add water to dirt, making the perfect soil!

After sorting and planting, flowers get to grow! 🌸

This nursery had a great set up for winter growing too. They even have a way to pump hot water to keep the plants warm.
Turns out this nursery has a “pet” parrot. He certainly caught our girl’s attention.

Our tour ended with the perennial plants outside…and, of course, a group photo with our great tour guide! πŸ“Έ

…and flowers…the girls know to keep their flowers inside…but off mom’s kitchen table. 🌷🌼🌺🌷

Until next week β€οΈπŸ’—β€οΈ

2214 Daisies ❀️ Bracelets

While participating in today’s meeting & Investiture our Troop Leader had a fun craft for the girls – daisy bracelets!

Last week the girls colored the daisies and over the weekend Mrs D. worked her magic to prep their their art for wrist wear.

Today, the girls received their artwork back along with beads and pipe cleaner to create their masterpieces.

You can see the sweetly colored daisy 🌸

And our hardworking artists enjoying the sun created their masterpieces.

Our end product was done just in time for group photos and Investiture. What a great day to be a Daisy β™₯️
