Art to Wear….soooo cute!

Every year we make an “Art to Wear” project during our family camping trip. We always do a piece of jewelry and a super cute t-shirt.

Jewelry this year was a bracelet made with hemp thread and washers.

T-shirts, we try to get more creative and pick something we think the girls will actually wear.

This year, the design we did required the shirts be washed before they would “show” the design as we had a magic/disappearing ink sort of thing going on. So, we asked all the parents to forward a photo of their daughter in the t-shirt.

With everyone’s crazy schedules we did manage to get a few and we have to admit…they all turned out WAY CUTE!

We had so many super fun photos from this year’s camping trip that we decided to do a “series” of blogs so we could share everything! Keep on the lookout over the coming days.

This little one is a future member of our troop (leader’s daughter) wearing the “test” design made by Leader VG.

AND……This is how we did it!

  1. Those shirts came out so cute! I absolutely love them! I am going to check out how you made them and give it a try with my girls. Thanks for the great idea. πŸ™‚
